Selling a home is more than simply putting a property on the market and hoping for the best. It’s about working together as a team to sell your home in your desired timeline and for the best price. Take a look below at the Seller’s Roadmap to gain a better understanding of what you can expect from start to finish.

1. Meet with Us

Meet with The Holsten Team to gain a better understanding of how we operate and to ask any questions you may have.

2. Establish a Price

Should we mutually choose to work together, my team and I will do in-depth research and present you with a complete analysis of your home’s market value along with the current buying patterns in your neighborhood and surrounding areas. This will help us in listing your home at a competitive price.

3. Prepare Your Home

Before we put your home on the active market, we offer several complimentary services to help get your home show ready, including a 5-point home inspection, a home staging consultation, floor plan measurements with blue print diagram and professional photography.

4. List Your Home for Sale

We will do a great job marketing your home, to include custom counter displays, open houses, and excellent online presence. You will hear from me and my team regularly with status updates, and have the opportunity to ask any question… at any time!

5. Offers & Negotiation

My job is to advocate for you. I will negotiate price, objections, concessions, and contingencies to ensure you are getting the best possible deal.

6. Under Contract

Once an offer is accepted, you can expect great communication with the team. We will stay on top of your dates and deadlines and make sure necessary tasks are completed. You will be hearing from me, my assistant or another member of the team at least twice a week and often-times more.

7. Final Details

As we near closing day, we will be coordinating closing time, location and transfer of funds based on your settlement statement – a document created by title to give you your final numbers and to ensure you understand the fees.

8. Closing Day

Once we arrive at the closing table, it’s a matter of signing all the paperwork to officially transfer ownership, pay settlement fees, and ensure all the documents are recorded by title.

9. Sold!

Your home is sold! Even after the contract is closed, we are still available to answering any questions or address concerns.
